- It's going to be a quieter week this week here at LCMI with only
a few meetings scheduled. The weekend in Harbor Beach was very
enjoyable, it was fun to watch God work in men's lives as He challenged
each one of us to be more attuned to God's voice and be the risk
taking dangerous men He has created us to be. Sunday morning
Mike really challenged the whole church to listen more attentively to
God's voice and follow Him where He leads, no matter what it looks
like. We are excited to watch God open more venues for Men's ministry
in the future, and we are also excited about the Guys Weekend LCMI is
hosting at Bay Shore Camp in Sebewaing, Michigan this coming Sept.
11-13.

- Everyone arrived home safely and the trip went well.

- Mike, Becky and family are currently spending the night in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. All has gone well so far on the trip home.
They return to Chicago, Illinois tomorrow morning to finish their
journey home.

Iowa, and Illinois.

- Mike, Becky and family are back on the road headed home after
a good week in Jackson Hole. They are currently in Salt Lake City,
Utah spending the night. They will catch the train back to
Chicago at 4:30 AM.

- After 9 1/2 hours of delay due to bad weather, they arrive in
Salt Lake City, Utah @ 8:30 AM. They depart at 11:00 AM via
automobile and arrive in Jackson Hole Wyoming @ 6:30 PM. Everyone is
tired but settling in.

- Mike, Becky, and family are taking some much needed rest and
relaxation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming over Christmas. They
departed the Lapeer, Michigan train station at 6:00
AM.
12/19/2008
- This is LCMI's last business day for the year. We are
preparing to be out of the office until Jan 5th. There are lots
of last minute details to be taken care of. For those of you who
donate before Jan.1, rest assured that donations will be credited to you
on
the date they were received, so you will receive the deduction for
your 2008 Income Taxes.
- Today Mike wrote and sent out his last Living Reflection for
2008. See the Reflections
tab in our main menu if you are not familiar with what Reflections are
all about.

- Mike is counseling in the Cass City Office today.

- Mike is counseling in Lansing, Michigan today. Travelling
conditions are very bad in Michigan, there is lots of snow and
ice. He barely made it in time for his 10:00
appointment. He made it home fine, the roads were much
better later in the day.

- Today is a day of office work. We are doing payroll taxes
today. Both Mike and Becky are fighting a touch of the flu...

- Thank you to those who have been praying for provision.
The Lord is beginning to faithfully answer your prayers.
- We are continuing to update our website, and more changes are
coming... Stay Tuned!
- Mike is enjoying a minimal level of counseling in December, a much
needed respite.
- Becky is continuing her work on the administrative side of LCMI,
taking care of the daily things required to run everything
smoothly.
- Jennifer is in her last week of classes for the semester at Lansing
Community College. She is looking forward to a break. Her
hard work is paying off: she earned the Michigan sign language
interpreter certification this semester, at a QA2 level!
- Michigan weather is forcing everyone to slow down a little. We
have lots of snow and cold weather. LCMI offices will be closed from
Dec 21, 2008 to Jan 5, 2009 for the Holidays.

- Please continue to pray with us regarding financial
provision. November was a most difficult month for us
financially and we are still feeling the effects of it. .
- We will be working on our website today, we will be
adding more information and updating the Reflections
archive.

Cass City on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Mike is
counseling in Bad Axe, Michigan and Jennifer is interpreting. for
him.

- Today everyone is in the office working on various
projects. Requests for international travel continue to come
in almost daily, and we are praying for His will to be revealed in
this matter. There are days it is confusing why there are so
many opportunities, but no provision to re-institute our
international travels.

- Mike is counseling in Lapeer, Michigan today.
- LCMI is feeling the results of the poor U.S. economy - once again,
donations are down for the year. Please pray with us that God
will provide for the financial needs of the ministry.
11/21/2008
- It's been a busy week at LCMI. Lots of counseling,
dealing with crisis and other issues. Wed. Mike and Becky
attended a seminar in Detroit put on by the IRS regarding
maintaining the Non-Profit 501C3 status of LCMI. It was a very
encouraging and educational day. The remainder of the time
this week has been spent in the office getting caught up on paper
work and other aspects of administration.

- Today Mike is counseling in Harbor Beach Michigan, from 10:00
AM to 8:00 PM. This is his last appointment there this year,
and counseling will resume in Harbor Beach again on Jan 9,
2009.
11/12/2008
- This week is full with counseling, and we are excited to see
the ways the Lord is moving to reveal Himself to all of our
clients. Mike is starting the process of slowing down as he
does at the end of every year, preparing himself for a months
respite from counseling so he can rest and recharge in
December. Tuesday and Wednesday he counsels in Cass City,
Thursday in Harbor Beach, Friday in Bad Axe, Michigan..
Becky is
busy with office work, enabling LCMI to run more efficiently and
effectively. She also spends much time in study, discovering ways
for LCMI to more effectively communicate the message of Freedom in
Christ.
Jennifer is continuing her studies to
increase her proficiency in American Sign Language. She currently interprets
for Mike in counseling 2 times a month.
